Sales executive £25K BASE + OTE

Role Description:

  • You will have an excellent telephone manner.
  • You will be personable, friendly and highly motivated.
  • You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will have a firm understanding of good customer service and a strong desire to go the extra mile.
  • You will be used to making a high volume of phone calls and emails.
  • You will be highly organised.
  • You will have at least 2 years experience working for IT or technology firms and understand the web hosting industry and/or data centre operations.

What it takes:

Skills/Experience

  • Telephone sales experience is essential.
  • Experience of working within a hosting organisation would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to identify upsell opportunities and close sales efficiently.
  • Good IT skills and be highly competent working with Microsoft Office products and CRM systems. Salesforce experience would be of benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

Some of the responsibilities of this position are

  • Contacting existing customers who are flagged as suitable for upgrade and upselling.
  • Interpreting technical reports to identify a suitable upgrade for each customer.
  • Opportunity generation through cold calling from quality data, as well as own research/networking.
  • Account management, including handling customer requests for changes to service.
  • Handling inbound sales queries and owning the opportunity from enquiry to delivery.
  • Building proposals that meet customer requirements.
  • Set up meetings with new prospects and existing customers to grow.
